The Quebec's Pentathlon!!!!

The Pentathlon of Quebec is a competition created by Jean-Charles Ouellet in 2005.In 2008, as part of the 400th anniversary of Quebec City, the event took place in downtown Quebec City for the first time and attracted over 1200 participants.The 5 disciplines in the program are: cycling, running, cross country skiing, skating and snowshoeing.You can do the pentathlon in solo (1 person does all the competition), in tandem (2 people between disciplines) or in teams of 3, 4 or 5 people. The pentathlon is a really interesting competition because he is open for women,  men and famillies. So, the teams can be mixed. Embellished of fun and challenging events, the pentathlon is spread over a month. But, the main competitions takes place on February 26 and 27. The Pentathlon of  this year promises to be exciting because It's going to have 2700 participants and It's the records.

X-Games: The Gold For Sebastien!!

 The recruit Sebastien Toutant is being to set a place and to make It's mark in the world of the snowboard at the X-Games. The Montreal won the gold during the slopestyle competition in USA . He finished the week-end with two medals. He had no expectations because he went over there to have fun and spend times with his friends. For his first participation in the X-Games. The young man of 18 years old also won silver at the Big Air competition. The mere fact of having been invited by the X-Games was great in the eyes of the Canadian athlete. The slopestyle is testing the skills of riders at different levels and they must perform various maneuvers on obstacles to change. Toutant, whose nickname is '' Seb Toots'', had a score of 93.00 points to win his first X-Games competition.

Mi is the creater of an invention really interesting invention because, we have the proof that It's working in a video. He called his invention the '' Streetsurf'' because It' s a surf with wheels so he can ride in the street. Mi has testing his engine and It's working but It's really not easy. It's normal because the supports are differents of those that he's accustomed on his other board. He went to the contest '' Lépine'' at 12 may 2005 and he won a trophy for his invention and for his creativity. The contest '' Lépine'' International of Paris is a contest of inventors. Since 1901, this contest reward the bests inventions and innovations in all the sectors of activities.

Important victory!!

Team soccer Canada won against Costa Rica team and they won 4-0. Thanks to this victory, they are qualified for the big soccer tournament in Germany. The Canadian Josée Bélanger made the first goal of this important game. Bélanger is an important players of team Canada. I'm really proud of her because she's my cousin and I found that at the last game, she gave the best of her. So, I hope that they will be able to win at the tournament in Germany.

Team Canada could be kept away from the podium for the first time at the Commonwealth games. Up to now, the biggest opponent of Team Canada has been an Indian team extremely productive and the extreme heat. They totally underestimated the heat during their training so during the game it's hard to be concentrate and to be energic in their performance. So, dou you think that Team Canada will be able to climb again to the top of the podium ?
